My ongoing researches:

I try to get all the links with the previously mentionned "BREGER Johannes" and the several areas from 1725 / 1750, I will focuss my research mainly on my genealogy tree, and relatives.

       > the inhabitants, their jobs,... their origins.

I am currently working an a systematic record of all the civil acts of the town, I just finished the weddings and I have started the births & deaths (1793-1900), it's a hard work, mainly due to several old languages like the Sutterling writing.

      > my town, origines of the name, the major events, the social live, the church ....  

Twenty years ago I was the secretary of the local Basket ball club, my father was the President and my grand father the founder. At that time, with a few friends we have issued a period report related to the activity of the club, the objective was to get the inhabitants know what's going on in the club. The small news paper was issued 6 times a year. Each edition had some Historical datas included, the club, the town, the church etc..) all tese datas were writen by the maire, the priest, the teachers....). I kept all those valuable documents.

My dream is to set up a Historical Club, regruping all type of searchers, like dats, postcards, pictures, events, etc.. and to combine the efforts and get issued a nice book of our town "Niederschaeffolsheim".
